James Johnson is a highly experienced and accomplished Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years of expertise in providing both contentious and non-contentious services for large-scale building and civil engineering projects across multiple sectors, including property, transportation, oil & gas, and manufacturing.

As a Director, James has established a reputation for delivering exceptional results in the industry. With a strong educational background, including a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying, a PG Dip, and multiple professional accreditations such as MRICS, MHKIS, MCIArb, and Member of the Academy of Experts, James is well equipped to provide expert guidance to clients.

Having lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1994 and Macau since 2006, James has a wealth of international experience, having also worked on long-term secondments in Shanghai and Seoul. This global exposure has enabled him to bring a unique perspective to his work and to understand the diverse cultural, legal and commercial requirements of clients across different regions.

James is highly sought after for his expert advice in areas such as arbitration, prolongation and variation claims, procurement strategy, contract drafting, due diligence on behalf of funders, and project risk management processes.
